Plumpton Estate

Plumpton College: the UK’s Wine Centre of Excellence. Since 1989, we’ve been at the forefront of wine education, research, and production, shaping the next generation of industry leaders.

Grown and made in the Sussex countryside, our wines are produced by the expert winemaking team behind Plumpton College’s renowned Wine Centre of Excellence.

Our Winemaking

From hand-picked grapes to extended lees ageing, our wines combine traditional craftsmanship with modern winemaking innovation. Our sparkling wines are made using the Traditional Method, while techniques including barrel ageing, bâtonnage and long lees maturation bring complexity, character and finesse to every bottle.

Award-Winning Wine

Our wines continue to earn recognition on the national and international stage. The Blanc de Blancs 2018 Magnum was awarded Gold at the 2025 Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships and selected for the Vineyard & Winery Show Golden 50 Wines, while our Brut Rosé and Classic Cuvée have built an impressive collection of awards over the years.
