Our Plumpton Estate Rosé Wine is full of rich strawberry, raspberry, plums and red cherries aromas.

Youthful, fresh and perfectly poised with ripe summer fruits dancing on the palate. Light and fruity enough to enjoy on its own, this wine is perfect for sharing with friends.

A bright, well-balanced rosé with uplifting aromas of strawberries, peach and gooseberry. It is perfect on its own, or with seafood and salad dishes.

Produced from estate-grown grapes, this wine is crafted by Plumpton College’s expert winemakers and viticulturalists, whilst teaching our degree students the skill of oenology. Our alumni now lead innovation and quality across the wine industry, from vineyard to bottle

Technique

Each year our students harvest grapes from our Rock Lodge
vineyard in Scaynes Hill, one of the oldest vineyards in the UK.

The varieties are destemmed and crushed, and macerated on the skins for 12 hours to give our wine its attractive pink hue and lend structure to its fresh fruit character. The varieties were co-fermented cool in stainless steel tanks and bottled to retain its vibrant aromatics.
